We sell the light, not the fitting

Most lighting shops are catalogs. Thousands of fixtures, filtered by finish and price, with no way to tell how any of them will actually feel once it is on your wall at seven in the evening.
We keep the range deliberately small. Every sconce, pendant, flush mount and path light we stock has been chosen for one reason: the quality of the light it throws. Warm where warm belongs, directional where you need to read, soft where a room needs to settle.

How we choose stock

Four things every fixture has to pass

The light itself. We look at beam spread, glare and colour temperature before we look at the finish.
Materials that age well. Solid brass and bronze develop a patina. Painted pot metal chips.
Honest installation. Every listing says plainly whether it plugs in or needs hardwiring.
Parts you can replace. A fixture with a sealed, unreplaceable LED is a fixture with an expiry date.
